The Postgraduate Program in Orientalism, offered at both Master’s and Doctoral levels, focuses on the study and analysis of the history, politics, economy, and diverse cultures of the Middle East, with a particular emphasis on specialized tracks that include: Ancient Languages, Ancient Religions, Manuscripts and Documentation, Photography, Music, and Archaeology.

At the Master’s level, students gain a solid foundation in the region’s history, political and social dynamics, and acquire essential research skills for analyzing historical and cultural sources. At the Doctoral level, students engage in in-depth research within one of the specialized tracks, contributing original studies that shed new light on the region’s past and present—ranging from the analysis of ancient texts to the study of tangible heritage and the understanding of cultural and religious contexts.

The program prepares graduates for careers in academic research, museums, heritage preservation, international cultural organizations, and specialized media, with a distinguished ability to provide insightful analyses and strategic perspectives that foster a comprehensive understanding of the Oriental world’s history and issues.
